Previously, Nikita worked on the strategic development of The Rockefeller Foundation’s Precision Public Health Initiative. She was an inaugural member of the NBC News Health and Medical Unit, where she wrote and produced coverage broadcast nationally. Nikita holds an MPH from Columbia University, an MA in Media Studies from The New School, and a BA in International Relations and Writing from Johns Hopkins University.
