Director of Technology, Ethics and Society
Part strategy director, part researcher and thought leader, and part network builder, this leader will help to craft the foundation’s core thinking and strategy, advise our strategy team as they develop out each of our strategic pillars, and will work with us to develop relationships with key advisors and collaborators across the field of technology for social good. The Program Associate will staff our program team and help translate strategy into reality in support of the Foundation’s goals. This work will include researching and performing due diligence on potential grantees, providing support to the program team on strategy development, and helping to identify high-leverage opportunities at the intersection of data science, AI, and social good. We’re looking for strategists with depth in technology, digital health, data institutions and governance, climate change, or diversity, equity, inclusion, and access in tech. This role will help to develop strategy in the program areas we work in, source and manage relationships with grantees, and contribute to the Foundation’s work in convening and developing thought leadership in the field.
